Counseling & Health Services

The Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides short-term individual and group counseling to address common student concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, eating concerns, trauma and academic challenges. Referrals to off-campus providers are available for long-term or specialized care.

University Health Center

The University Health Center offers a wide range of services to support student well-being, including:

  • Medical Services: Acute care, primary care, reproductive and sexual health, gynecology/genital health, allergy care, immunizations, international travel clinic, laboratory, occupational health, pharmacy, X-ray services and gender-affirming healthcare
  • Behavioral & Psychiatry Services: Psychiatry, substance use intervention and treatment, medication management and integrated primary care behavioral health

Wellness & Advocacy

Recreation & Wellness (RecWell)

RecWell encourages students to stay active and live well. Students can access gyms, pools, intramural sports, climbing walls, group fitness classes and other wellness programs.

Meditation

Meditation sessions are available through the Health Center to help students reduce stress and improve their mind-body awareness.

CARE to Stop Violence

Campus Advocates Respond and Educate (CARE) to Stop Violence provides free, confidential advocacy and therapy for survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking and harassment. They also offer educational programs to prevent violence on campus.
